Love Makes Us

Release

“My feet will want to walk to where you are sleeping, but I shall go on living.” ― Pablo Neruda

Release is a guided and public public immersive experience that allows people to let go. The experience is set up as a ritual where the participant sits facing Earl, and he walks them through four stages. The first is an exercise to become present and then breaking down the public space that we are in. The second stage is embodying the thing that the individual wants to let go. The third is reading encouragement from a past participant. Lastly, the person is encouraged to release a part of that which they had embodied and had been weighing on them. What the individual let's go is private and never spoken of. This piece has been performed in New York in 2017.
